• We has been entrusted by Gas Processing & Utilities (GPU) as the Main Mechanical Package Contractor for Utilities Kerteh (UK) Demineralized Water (DEMIN) Plant Turnaround 2016.

  • Shutdown activity were performed by OPN team on 31st July and completed on the same day. 1day ahead of scheduled. The mechanical day was officially declared on 31st July at 1400hrs. Overall mechanical day completed in 50 days commenced on 31st July at 1400hrs till 18th September at 1715hrs.

  • Start-up activity commenced after completion of mechanical work for each vessel since this is a staggered plant shutdown. The final start-up were completed for the last batch of equipment (CP-F,MBE-A&J) at 2130hrs on 18th September 2016.

  • Total man-hours achieved during turnaround started from Shutdown Day, 31st July until Plant Start-up completed on 18th September were 52,267 man-hours with zero incident or accident recorded during this Turnaround.

  • The progress from main package contractor truly affected the overall S-curve for DEMIN Turnaround 2016. The good achievement from MMSSB and other main package contractors has been shown in the overall S-Curve. Total worklist for main mechanical package 36nos static equipment.

  • MMSSB has appointed 3 QAQC & 3 JIT Supervisor which undergo for qualification training by UK to ensure all the QC/JIT Supervisor understood and implement the JIT procedures.

  • MMSSB also has trained a total of 16 Joint Maker to check, identify and report all of the joints opened during turnaround. Total Registered Joints is 490nos Joints.

  • Defect notification make up significant portion of the overall DEMIN TA work list. Being the main package contractor, MMSSB has been entrusted to execute majority of the work. Total defect 443nos. All the defects were founded during the inspection of the equipment by UK inspection.
